"The THREE Things you MUST do, or your Business could fail!"

Is there REALLY "3 things" you must do, or your business will fail? This is NOT to imply that if you do "these things" that your business will succeed, just that if you DON'T do these, your business could fail! There are actually MANY things that you should do, which will help to make your business successful, such as:
1) Spending your money wisely. Getting the most for every dollar!
2) Order in quantity, whenever possible, to save money.
3) Don't buy TOO much! If possible, buy only what you need to get by, and save your money for other, more important things!
4) Get the highest circulation possible, to reach the greatest number of people that you can, for the least amount of money spent!
5) Make as many contacts as you can; make use of "word of mouth" advertising!
6) Trade ads with other Businesses and Publishers! Get Free Publicity by sending out News Releases!
7) Give away Free Samples, to entice people to order from you!
8) Get as many "Free Listings" as possible; Work out "deals" with other sources!
9) Use low-cost printing methods; but, don't be TOO cheap with your printing! Your printed literature (usually) is all most people will see of you!!
There's really NOT just ONE THING which is the "Line" between success and failure, it's more accurately THREE things which you MUST do to be Successful in any Business Venture:
A.) You MUST Advertise! Without it, no one will know you are in business! Advertising informs and attemps to convince people to do business with you. If you aren't Advertising, you aren't reaching potential customers. Advertising is that sign in your window; Advertising is your listing in the Yellow Pages; Advertising is that TV or Radio commericial; Advertising is that "Ad" in Newspapers and Magazines; Those Flyers & Business Cards your have printed is that Advertising that reaches the prospective buyer! Advertising is also what your competitors do, and that's why their business is booming and maybe why yours isn't!
B) You MUST multiply your efforts! You must recruit other people to help you reach still more people! Your Dealers & Agents will reach people that you never could reach! Every new person you recruit as one of your Dealers might increase your business by 50%! Some people can double or triple your business! Your own list of satisfied customers is your best possible list of potential recruits! They've already have bought from you; they know you and you know them! They're already convinced and "sold" on your products! Just put the tools they need in their hands, to promote your business, and turn them loose!
C) You MUST re-invest in your business! Continue to put your time & energy into your business, to make it grow! AND put some of your profits BACK into your business! Some say 25%, others say 30% of each dollar should be used to buy more printing; to do more advertising & promotion, etc. If you're NOT investing some of your profit back into your own business, why not? Don't you believe in it? Re-Invest a portion of your profits back into your business to make it grow! Good Luck!!
